These email blasts offering signings are ridiculous

I received this message a few minutes ago:

<<Good afternoon,

We have 18 pages, e-docs, no faxback’s, that need signed tomorrow @ 11am at XXXXX Way, Sanford, FL 32771. Approved fee is $40. First to respond gets it!!>>

This would be a 20-25 mile drive for me (one-way), so I will not be responding to the offer as I am not in business to lose money. I wouldn't even do this in my own zip code for the fee offered.

Yeah I know. We do all of the work and they get all of the money. I don't think so!!!

With fees that low & insulting, that's why they're not wasting time on phone calls.
They put it out there & someone will be desperate enough to take it.

Teresa, you will never be that hungry!

If you ever feel that way, I can hook you up driving to/from MCO making more than that!

Misty, hope things are going well for you.

Should I apply for my chauffer's license now?

FL does not require a chauffer's license

Things are Okey-dokey for mid-summer in hot, humid Englewierd Smile.
I am awaiting a decision on a laaaaaaaaarge grant that I applied for, and hope to receive.
If I do, I am putting a van at MCO 24/7.
I'll have 21 shifts available every week if you ever decide you need to take those $40 signings!
LOL

I think it might be a "Structured Settlement" signing

but that information is not included in the email.

It would be nice if more detail was offered, but I still would not accept based on the fee issue.

Sometimes the Structured Settlement signings take longer than a full-blown loan signing.

Re: I think it might be a "Structured Settlement" signing

Was the email from Single Source Settlement? They do that also. I usually counter with a higher fee. Have done a few for them.

Re: I think it might be a "Structured Settlement" signing

Yes, it was. I have done just one assignment for them and do not remember it being offered through an "email blast."

I already have an assignment at that time, so I am not available.

Given the distance to the signing location, I do not think any counter-offer I made would have been accepted.
