I was just informed that when they get paid I will get paid. This is for a signing that was completed on June 2.

I took one assignment from them and found they don't answer your inquires...be it by phone or email. I checked and found their address is a UPS mailbox center. 51 days till I was paid.....I'm done with them.

I really don't see how they stay in business with no cash reserves to pay their notaries. I had a business for 20 years and you don't take from peter to pay paul. Some day they will run out of notaries who are willing to accept this or they will just close up. By the way, they said since I did not accept their way of doing business they would take my name off their list.

I did a job for eMobile Notary back in about 2004. Billed them the $65 we'd agreed on. They paid $60 and when I inquired, they said they never pay more than that and I'll never get the other $5.
I was new...didn't know how to fight. I learned, though.

This is typical ss BS. Unless we have signed an agreement that says we will wait to be paid until they are paid, it's not our problem. Lessons learned--don't do business with cos. that operate that way.

That is their policy and always has been.
I don't know about signed agreement, but their website states, in part:
eMobile Notary Policies: Payment:
Notary commission statements are prepared weekly.
Payment of Notary Commissions are made as soon as the file closes. Files are considered closed when payment is disbursed and received by eMN;
Files are considered delinquent 30 days after the signing date.
Experience has shown that signing fees are typically the last payments disbursed by escrow, and that a 3 to 4 week turnaround is usual. eMN office staff follows up on payments or the updated status on all delinquent files.

Re: eMobile Notary ==> Nothing new ...
I had the same problem back in 2002. Seems like some things never change.
