signing as an llc

I have a signing where they have to sign with company name it is an llc. I just got docs half hour before closing. I have sent an email asking who must I id that will be signing. Must I also ask for some kind of id that shows the company name?

First time for this.

Page 8-9 of your manual provide Acks and Jurats for representative capacity - Joe Schmoe as officer of xyz llc....they've probably had to show corporate authority to sign the docs and this should have been reviewed and approved by lender and titleprior to clear to close. You should just be identifying the person in front of you; check your handbook or with your SOS to see if you're required to see proof of their authority within the LLC.

Maybe you can liken this to a signing with POA - are you required to see the POA to see if they truly are AIF or are you to take their word. I'd think if you're not required to see the POA, you're not required to see the corporate authority.

I do not see any instructions as to what person I am supposed to meet with. Just the llc name is on docs. Still waiting for title to call me.
In my journal I will show their name plus the llc name.
