BCHH

BCHH contacted me to do a signing. They have a 2 1/2 star rating on SC. I turned them down. I've been burned too many times. What would you have done? Opinions, please.

I am shocked BCHH has a low rating. They are AWESOME in my book! Meet my fee and pay quickly. You shouldn't have turned them down!

Haven't worked for them this year, last year I was paid upon funding, no issues.

More than 4 bad remarks it's a no for me

Not everyone is happy with a company so I'll take 1-2 remarks, but if I see a steady pattern that would be a no unless the company is in NJ.

I added an exceptional rating just now. I have done lots of work for them and have not had a bad experience. I find folks are quick to criticize and slow to complement ; )

Thanks for the comments everyone. I make my choice based on NR's SC. I'm already trying to collect from a deadbeat. I don't need anymore. There are too many notaries complaining about BCHH for me to work for them. Even if they do get a good comment from a notary, it still doesn't negate the negative comments. I'm not taking any chances. Thanks again.

Because SOME of us have had trouble getting paid

I had one earlier this year, paid within 2 weeks. Called me for another one - terrific! Sign me up. It is now 69 days and counting on that one. Don't know whether it's a company issue, or an individual employee involved, but I now have the vendor manager following up to find out why I haven't been paid. So at this point, I've got a 50/50 opinion. I'm hoping it's just an employee issue and they get it resolved soon.

That's Surprising

BCHH is one of my favorites. They pay well and a check is in your mailbox within 1-2 weeks. Never had a payment problem with them.

There were some reviews of them in very recent months where they had like a 4 1/2 star out of 5 rating. There seems to be a new thread of reviews.

I'd give them a chance.

Never any issue at all. Pleasant, no hand holding and fast payment. What else is there? Don't really understand the low rating.

I did a signing on 11/11 and still not paid....I will respond in Signing Central as soon a I get paid...Sent two invoices....
