E.Z.Notary/Account Payable
Hi Notaries, Recently I read a post that a notary was trying to get contact information for E.Z. Notary for past due balance, I have also been sending E.Z.Notary emails and calling and leaving numerous messages for a signing I did for them on 7/25/10 (143 Days ago!!) I was about to give up and just call it a lose ,but then I got an email this morning that stated: "I apologize for any delay you may have encountered in receiving payment for your services. I have been directed to bring to your immediate notice and urgent attention that we are aware of the contract sums owed to you. We have been experiencing difficulties in collecting our accounts receivable, and unfortunately are still in the process. Please understand that as we collect some of our larger receivables during the next few months, we will remit the entire balance owed on this account. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this regrettable situation. Should you have any questions or if I can personally be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me. Sincerely, E.Z.Notary "
Sorry but I have ran out of patience and understanding ,I don’t believe it ,its all a lie, because why when I wrote an email to the lender and title, they both said that she was already paid ,plus she even sent me an email a month ago stating:" I will find out if the check has been sent out. If not, I will make sure it goes out asap." Closing Coordinator E.Z. Notary, LLC
In my opinion ,if that was the case that they were having difficulties collecting funds, then why not call and say that in the beginning ,or even when they call for a notaries service they should at least mention that we will not get paid till they do ,urrr, did anyone else receive this email ?
Thanks Camellia

Re: Erica,I understand that times are hard ,but ............
Erica aka E.Z. Notary-
I have bills too,and I have hard times too,But as an adult and a buisness woman you have an obligation to pay those who do work for you BOTTOM LINE,and your $50 that you owe me is not much, but I took the time out of my day to trust you and I did a signing for you,and you owe me that $50 because I did the work for you ,........I have been waiting for almost 6 months,I think its about time to pay up,dont you?

Re: Erica,I understand that times are hard ,but ............
I accepted one assignment from E.Z. Notary in May of this year. I guess I should count myself as one of the lucky ones. It only took them 51 days to pay me.
I now charge, and have collected, late fees from SS companies that do not pay as agreed. I make new, or new to me, companies sign my agreement with late charges clearly spelled out.
For the companies that are not planning on stiffing notaries right out the gate, they have nothing to fear by signing something that says that if they do not pay as they agree to pay they will pay extra for that. I've had one refuse to sign, so I didn't accept the order. Good thing because within a month or so, they began receiving 1-star ratings for non or slow payments.
IMO, if a person or company wishes to insert themselves as a "middle-man" in this business, instead of allowing the SAs work directly with the TC, they should have the capital on hand to pay as agreed or get out of the "middle-man" business altogether. Not all SS companies are bad, but the ones that are make it harder on the honest ones.
