They have been asking me to esign a one time contract each time I take an assignment, very easy, just do it online. I haven't completed their enrollment package because I don't agree with their low fees, but they always meet my fee.

On their contract, I just mark out their fees, write my own and initial it saying to them that the fees I charge are average for this area (TX). They never sent an inquiry disputing this but I always verify the fees when they call me on the phone. And I posted somewhere else about that when a closing is done, they say to email them if the fee needs adjustments which I do when faxbacks pop up after I have accepted the closing.

I do the same, and I've never had a problem with them not paying the faxback fee. I do always check the fees up front, because they'll always try to sneak the $75 e-docs fee past me, and I always have to correct them. I also still occasionally get confirmations with the wrong amount. I just reply to the e-mail stating the fee amount is wrong, and they send me a new confirmation with the right amount.

FASS (First American Title) great company to work for. They bought out Transcontinental Title in Florida. Have been working for both since 2007...always paid....and on time. Yes everyone fills out that pkg.

Maybe it's that time of the year
I'm getting calls from companies that I have worked for for years and the schedulers tell me that I am not in their system. Some of them I have completed sign up packages in the past, others I have not.
I had a call from FLEX (aka Richmond Title) today requesting my services and that I sign up with them. LOL I told her that I started accepting work from them back in '06 (when Richmond Title did the calling). LMAO, after she looked for my information, but stated she couldn't find it, all of a sudden, the signing required a Spanish speaking notary. On the last two jobs they stiffed me on part of my print fee and screwed me out of the closing on the other. No big loss for me.
