How many SS do this?
I just got a Xmas card AND gift card from a SS. Just wondering if you guys are experiencing anything similar? I really think that is cool of them! Thank you Gary and Chris!

I think it’s generally the other way around. They send you business, and pay you, you thank them for the work, they thank Title, title thanks the Lender. But it’s nice to be appreciated

That was a class act thing to do. These cos. make their
money from our efforts. I got a box of candy from a borrower I signed for tonight. That was a nice gesture. IMO everyone is trying extra hard this year because of all the "bad economy" news. Spread the cheer!

I've only gotten a couple of cards in the 7 years I've been doing this. One year, I made homemade candy and sent it to the six companies that hired me the most ..... LandAmerica, Transcontinental and I forget who all. That was kind of fun.

Back in the old days, yes, Christmas cards, nice pens, highlighters (no, couldn't use 'em on loan docs, but it's the thought that counts), a really cool mousepad once, for a couple years running got a calendar/appointment/mileage record book from one company. Last couple years...nope, unless you count e-cards--but, again, it's the thought that counts. What I'd like to get is binder clips. They could even recycle 'em...how seasonally 'green'~~

Judging from the number of responses I guess there is a general lack of regard for the work we do. That is very sad.

I got one years ago from a SS in Louisiana. It was a nice surprise.

Never had that happen, but I once sent a client some Christmas cookies and got yelled at for violating RESPA regs - somebody figured it had to have cost more than $25 - it didn't. Lost a good client. Won't do that anymore.
