JAY GROSS - KLIMAN LAW OFFICES

HAVE ANYONE EVER DONE A LOAN MODIFICATION SIGNING FOR JAY GROSS WHO IS SUPPOSE TO BE AN INTAKE OFFICER / ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE ON BEHALF OF KLIMAN LAW OFFICES AND DID NOT GET PAID? I DID A LOAN MODIFICATION SIGNING FOR JAY GROSS ON THURSDAY 10-14-10, AND PER HIS DIRECTIVES TO FAX ALL THE SIGNED LOAN MODIFICATION DOCUMENTS INCLUDING MY INVOICE TO HIM!

I SPOKE TO JAY GROSS ON FRIDAY 11-19-10 TO INQUIRE ABOUT MY PAYMENT, AND HE INFORMED DID NOT KNOW HOW THAT HAPPENED! I WAS TOLD TO FAX MY INVOICE TO HIM AGAIN, AND MY CHECK WOULD BE MAILED OUT ON MONDAY 11-22-10! AS OF TODAY, I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED PAYMENT FOR THIS SERVICE!

I CONTACTED KLIMAN LAW OFFICES WHO INFORMED THEY KNOW OF JAY GROSS, BUT WERE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR MY PAYMENT! I WAS TOLD BY THE OWNER (BURT KLIMAN) THEY HAD NO CONTROL OVER HIS EXPENSES, AND HOW HE PAID THE NOTARIES BECAUSE HE DOES NOT WORK FOR THEIR OFFICE!

"BEWARE OF THIS PERSON.... HE IS A FRAUD AND SCAMMING THE NOTARIES WITH INTENTIONS OF NOT PAYING FOR SERVICES RENDERED"!!!!

Have you sent a collection letter? That would be my next step, especially if you plan on filing a small claims suit against him and the law firm he represents. If he isn't connected to the law firm, as he claims, then you have another avenue to follow up on.

Curious. Was this a loan mod or a loan mod app.? The apps.

aren't legal if they require upfront fees, including if they are called a "retainer".

I would invoice the Law office until they pay or make Mr. Gross pay. What is on the confirmation you received?

IS YOUR CAPS LOCK KEY BROKEN??? Smile

Seriously, if the law firm is denying any responsibility, I would file a complaint against them with their Bar Association's grievance committee. It might be more effective to send them a copy of the complaint that you are about to file, and give them 5 days to pay what they owe you before you file it. Sometimes the threat of doing so is enough to make them see the light.
