LD Products

I need to order cartridges and I can't find the discount coupon offer from them that was sent via e-mail.

I can call them and get the discount if I place the order over the phone with their CSR, however can't use PayPal.

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: LD Products....Jerry?

Do a search here first - there have been problems reported with this company's products recently - you may want to check out the posts before you order

No personal experience here - I don't order from them - just read NotRot a lot..Smile

Go to Amazon. You'll get the same thing cheaper, even with the LD coupon. There are also other sites that offer better deals that LD. They're a good company, and their prices are certainly far better than Office Depot, but there still are better bargains around.

I received a coupon from LD in December, but it expired on Dec 15th. It was: ENDYEAR

However, just last week I had to return two cartridges to LD because they both printed with a gray hue across the entire page.

When I began having problems with the LD cartridge, I ordered one from a seller on Amazon. It was quite inexpensive ($15 less than what I pay at LD) and had free shipping, however it was defective with a black line running down the page. It was a little bit of a hassle when I contacted them for a return, however they did finally agree to accept it back for a refund. The seller was CartridgeWarehouse.

I also ordered a cartridge from Private Abacus (someone on NotRot had recommended them). The cartridge was $5 less than what I pay at LD and it had free shipping with just buying the one cartridge. So far, that one has worked fine. And it appears to have a new chip in it, as my HP recognized it as a genuine HP cartridge. I will be buying from Private Abacus again.

This has been such a hassle that I will not be ordering from LD again unless I start hearing some positive reviews. The bad cartridges I received from LD did not have their company logo on them - they were generic. The customer service at LD was very good, as usual. I just cannot afford to hassle with bad cartridges from them, and with reports from others that they've had problems with their LD cartridges, I am very hesitant to order from them again right now.

I have used LD Products for years with no problems. but I have heard the issues lately. I also enjoy Business Supply. They have good service and low prices. But I am a price+quality inspired shopper and I go where that inspiration takes me. Best of luck to you!

No DONT buy from Private ABACUS!!!!!

When I was having probs w/LD, I bought a pkg from Abacus w/1 drum & 3 toners. The drum had issues as well as the 2 toners. I didn't even bother to open the last toner. Contacted them the day after I received the products & they made me jump through hoops to even agree that the products were defective. When they finally agreed to accept the order back I was advised that I would have to pay for the return shipping cost (which would be $32 according to USPS) as well as whatever it cost them to ship it to me!! Since the product only cost around $100, I figured it wasn't even worth the hassle to return everything to only get around $40 back. Although I too have had some issues w/LD, they are always willing to resolve the problem, to cover any shipping costs and/or issue you a refund. I would NOT advise shopping w/Abacus.

Has anyone ordered from LD recently? Have they

fixed whatever problems they were having with their cartridges?

Re: Has anyone ordered from LD recently? Have they

My bad cartridges were ordered in September. I ordered three, and the first one worked fine. Then when I switched to the second cartridge I discovered the problems with the remaining two cartridges.

I've been buying from Provantage, and shipping is free.

Though Amazon has the product at a low price, after shipping the price is the same as Provantage with free shipping.

You mean you don't get the free shipping with Amazon? I very rarely have to pay shipping. Usually when it's not Amazon filling the order, but an affilate.
