MIC V/A Refi

Had one yesterday that was 115 pages. Today it's 152 pages. You still never know how big a packet these are going to be.

I had one too that was 115 pages yesterday. I hope my next one doesn't jump like that. They sure are selling a lot of those loans.

Indeed they are. I was glad to see them drop to about 110 page range, as most of them have been lately. They've been throwing a blanket verification in their packets also. I just mark an "X" through it and send it back with the docs. It always follows some little doc that all I see to fill in is to check "Married" and put in the SS#. No place to sign. I think there were 4 same name affidavits, and at least 2 identity docs to fill out.

How about the 3 HUDS they want signed when 1 would do. Then the Note explained in more in the next 2 forms that needs signed. The part that cracks me up the most is....We may sell your loan....(next form) we are putting your loan in the government pool... (next form)by the way make you payment to XXXX here the payment coupon. I always say I guess you were already sold. It is an easy loan to sign. I am truly happy to see that there loan packages are getting smaller. Most of all I am very greatful for all the business.

They stopped calling me several months ago when I called in my successful closing confirmation and told them that I could no longer do a 175 page package with surprise POA for $125. They haven't called me since.

I had not realized how large the package was until I printed it late the night before the appointment. And also discovered at that time that it was a POA signing. The huge package and POA verbiage ended up as a two-hour closing appointment. So, I believe if you complain about something, they will stop using you.

you are absolutely correct, they stopped using me and were very angry that i did not drive 187 miles of 2 lane desolate country with a flood warnings in effect. If they care more about a loan than my life then they can find someone else and it will not bother me for a second.

I believe FASS is also handling MIC.

Yes, the one I did was through FASS.

I had one last week that was 178. It was VA with a subordination and mobile home riders. AND it was in the next county at 8:00 at night. Needless to say, I charged them extra for everything.
