NEW SIGNING AGENCY???

Has anyone completed business with ENRIQUE G ACOSTA, CLOSING AGENT, E-MAIL IS [e-mail address]?

I have accepted 4 signings. Completed 3, 1 incorrect HUD,

I am getting nevous for some reason. I have been a signing agent for 5 years and had folks just not pay me, after a good relationship for a time. Then no phone, no fax.

Would someone reply, if they know anything about Enrique or this Agency?

He called me yesterday from a blocked number

He left a fast talking message saying he was referred to me and had ten closings in my area for me to do. I did a quick check on Not Rot, there was one other thread about him (search for "Acosta") where he promised someone 35 closings a month at $75 a piece. I called him back ten minutes after he left the message and apparently all ten of those closings had been filled (not that I would have worked for $75). I doubted from the beginning that he had really been referred to me. I don't know anything else, but I'll say that I didn't get a great impression from the message he left. I don't trust big promises, especially from someone I've never heard of before.

I received a "property tax solutions" assignment from him this afternoon, while I was on the way to a signing 75 miles from my office $200)
He said it only had 12 pages (25 pages when I opened it) only 6 miles travel (really 19 miles most back roads). He said it was to be at 7:30 pm tommorrow, Wed 12/29, All the e-mail say 10 am (I'm busy at that time).
Called him at about 4 pm to check with him. He answered. Was busy and would call me in about 30 mins. It is now 5:30 pm and NO call.
This may happen at 7:30 pm, I have a appointment at 10 am.
I took it and will honor my committment, but this will most likely to be the only time.

this guy is sending all the notaries on his list a email with location date and time and whoever responds first gets the closing. I did one closing for him a week ago and I have decided not to do any more because I do not like the way he operates. Just gotta hope I get paid.

I don't know if he is in SC yet or not, but he has been discussed here before.

He does have an agent listing under his name.
