Summary of 2010 and Business Model for 2011

What will you do differently in 2011 now that wacky 2010 is behind us. I'm finding a lot of last minute changes, major snafus in documentation, and when I'm finally before the borrower, they are testy and aggravated beyond comprehension. Completely fed up, the only saving grace is that they have a great interest rate and don't plan on ever refinancing again....unless of course the interest rate is better, again.

I got a call this week to sign up with an attorney notary service to perform notary services in my town. Any one else get this? What about auction sites, any one been contacted to show up and notarize all the bidders who are qualifying to purchase REO properties....I think they want to pay $15 an hour.

I'm having a pj day, cold and windy in Des Moines, Iowa. More icy rain for tomorrow, but snow is coming again, and we'll ice skate this weekend with the grand kids!

Wishing everyone on this board a Prosperous, Healthy, Happy New Year and to say what a pleasure it is to be a member of board with so many outstanding professionals...here we go for another year. Think I've been a member since 2002! We've only become better and sharper with so many peaks and valleys in this biz. All the best going forward!

It is a fact that on this business every year is different from the next. Happy New Year to all the wonderful people on this board. To Sylvia and my other French speaking colleagues: Bonne Annee.
