I had a terrible time the other night. I requested a new password and it still would not work. I called and the girl that tried to help me told me she would get back to me. She never did and when I called AGAIN, she had gone home for the day. I told the girl that answered the phone to just email them to me, that I was done trying to get on the website if they wanted this closing done. I had enough time invested in it and was getting aggravated.

Did you know they (closers) were instructed to cease emailing Docs to notaries? Either you download the Docs from the website or you loose out. The problem is, there's a glitch in the access process that's different for every notary depending on the web browser you're using. When I tried to explained this to them they were like, oh yeah?...well I'm sorry you're having problems, call XXXXXXX and maybe they can help you. I'm almost certain they do not understand.

I wonder how many notaries they are going to lose because of this.

I had huge problems with them last week. Both times docs were emailed to me. But prior to that I had emailed and phoned everyone, every single contact I had, and got not response. But - finally emailed the gal who actually sends the docs (save this contact!) and she responded immediately, and sent docs right after.

Then got email saying they had made changes to their site, etc., and now everything would be beautiful. Haven't got to test that yet though.

I've never had a problem. Did one for them last week and was able to log in, send email, download docs. Obviously your log in and password are case sensitive.

Slow down, don't be so smug....I could log in, that was not the issue. I could not get to the docs. This was a first for me.

I also input the website addy as http:// (etc) and it would change on me to https:// (etc)
and nothing of value would come up. Unfortunately, 20 mins. on hold with no response, about as many emails with no response left me severely aggravated and feeling let down.

As I said, this was a first for me, with the same computer, etc. No changes on my end except I have updated Adobe reader to newer version.

I could not get to the docs either. I clicked on the pdf and nothing happened. They just emailed my docs to me. It was screwy all week. I use Firefox, but I tried in Explorer as well. Same thing.

Everyone in the system was required to change passwords. (1) The instructions are incorrect. (2) I do 4 to six a week for them and I always get them emailed to me even if they are in the system, why...because the updates have the same Doc name (not good) as the previous ones so which one is the update (in the system).

I got that, but no mention of password change

unless I didn't read something properly. You know, if don't need immediately, file it away for later type thing.

I had them emailed to me also, in-spite of their policy. I told them "let's take care of the borrower first then deal with your in-house problems.." she agreed. It was her Sup that was being the A$$hole.
Anyway....I figured out it was the "browser" being used was the problem, I use Firefox and you cannot disable pop ups. Or you can use IE and it will work.

Yes....

Got assignment, was FORCED to change password, and after multiple tries finally got to where docs were"uploaded" and should have been available. Couldn't download or do anything with the PDF, finally had them emailed after getting thru to SOMEONE. Dates on the website still show as NOV. Never seem to be current.

Re: Yes....

When you got to where the Docs were and clicked on them to download, did the screen turn black? This also0 happens to me about 40% of the time. I'm asking because I want to prove to them (TRG - Vendor management) there are serious flaws that need to be corrected. You followed through and got someone to help you, good for you but we know not all of us are willing to go against the odds to satisfy the borrowers needs.

"not all of us are willing to go against the odds to satisfy the borrowers needs. "

Of course, there is my need to fill that time slot with cash producing income....reason enough to squack, mutter, moan, grimly email and call, mutter some more, pull hair and smile sweetly while telling a real live person their system sucks eggs and please email that package to me. Thank you very much, you're an angel, my hero, etc.
