USAA

I vowed to never use this forum again, but I need some input. Is anyone having problems getting docs from USAA through LSI? I had a 12:30 signing today and have not received docs as of 2:30 PM. Yes, I have communicated with LSI and the borrower. I have an 8:30 USAA signing tomorrow morning and have not received docs. Yes, I have communicated with LSI and will call the borrower by the end of the day. I will appreciate any professional responses. "forum bullies" will be ignored and reported to NR.

If you search here you'll find that others have

had problems within the last couple weeks with late docs, same companies and circumstances. Yours really aren't late yet - you could see them any time up to 9-10:00pm ET IME....I've received docs as late as 8:00 (not USAA)

Thanks for your input. I guess they are late for a 12:30 signing when I have a 3:00PM; 5:30PM and 8:00PM signing appointments. I just turned it back to LSI for reassignment.

I had a Chase closing this morning at 8 AM through LSI. I received docs at 11:06 PM yesterday evening, after I went to bed. I was up at 6 AM printing docs.

I have also recently experienced very late docs (or never-arriving docs/HUD approval) with USAA through LSI. However, I'm doing a BOA for LSI on Friday and I had docs on Wednesday. Go figure.

I think we're seeing the results of the USAA downsizing/restructuring that is in progress. They have always prided themselves with the finest of service but they're feeling the crunch too. Looks like they're preparing for a substantial drop in the lending side of their business.

I have a closing today at 10am with LSI/USAA and no docs yet and have been told they are working on the Hud and to call borrower to set it later.. Called the borrower and we are both on standby my first with LSI so not really impressed.

barbartk,

welcome to the club. I'm going thru the same thing right now.

Same scenario...USAA but title company is ISGN. What's that tell you about where the

problem is?

Have had 5 USAA's in the last several months. In 4 of the 5..had to pry docs out of the

lender with a crowbar.

My closing is at 10 as well.

But in my borrower's case...10 is the only time they can do it today..and he told me the

weekend is out as well.

Make you a bet......based on the last 5 I've done.....doubt docs will be here by 10.

USAA really needs to get its act together..if it's got an act.

Thanks for all your input. Happy it's not just me, but not happy it's happening to everyone. USAA has always been a first class operation, but they have lost the formula lately.

I had someone from LSI apologize to me on Tuesday saying that they are " a few elves short" around the office. Apparently they know they are not on their A-game right now.
