Work schedule for the Holidays
How many of us will be working or not during the holidays?? I will be available the whole time. We do not go out of town so working is not an issue for me! I am a very organized person and most of my holiday chores will be done this weekend so I can be free to work through the New Year! I am just curious..

A huge thank you to all the signing agents working through the holidays. If it weren't for you'all we wouldn't get our loans closed.

This year I'm available all day every day
I can't afford to take any time off this year, like so many others. Bring it on!

I'm available on holidays and weekends in addition to during the day on ordinary calendar dates. Just give me enough notice, and a reasonable payment.

"Your borrowers are my neighbors." That's my motto.
Accommodation is the key, I say. Accommodation and communication, that is.
Happiest of Holidays, everyone!

Yep, working and hoping to fill my calendar!
I just got four new tires on my car and need new struts, etc., etc... (Isn't it always something?! ) So, yes, I'm planning to be available. And if the first few weeks of this month are any indication, this year will be ending with a big bang!

I definitely work through the holidays. Historically, this
biz gets crazy this time of year--pressure to close loans by EOM & EOY. Holiday travel is a nightmare anyway. I'll plan a getaway in Jan. or Feb. Happy Signings, everyone!

Also, to make it clear once again..
1. *Technically* the last day to sign loan subject to the 3-day rescission period and fund in December is 12/27/2010. (may be earlier depending on title/lender schedule).
2. Watch courier holiday shipping schedules.
Just something to keep in mind.

Are you sure?
The first is a Federal holiday, but it falls on a Saturday, which makes it the 31st, but the banks are open so it counts as a day but the Federal Reserve is closed so it shouldn't except on days when the moon is in Aquarius or if Oprah decrees otherwise. Nope, definitely the 27th.

Six days a week, as usual. I do hope there's no demand for a Christmas morning loan closing, but I really don't have an issue with doing one appointment or two on a holiday. For several years now I've been called to a large family's place on Thanksgiving morning. They have a complicated estate plan that needs wills notarized every year or something to protect interests overseas. They pour me a cup of coffee and drop IDs on the table, and I make notes of what I need to and then go call up each signer as I need them (with their witnesses) to get their documents done. They keep me in coffee, and while they wait, the football game is on. It's a highly efficient and even fun appointment every year.

I am only available for loan rate - lock expiration issues and senior citizens general notary needs.

I was away for Thanksgiving and leaving again for Christmas. Unusual for me to leave for the holidays but my Dad is getting older and I want to spend the time with him.

We celebrate the Solstice instead of Christmas, so with the exception of the evening of our Solstice ritual, I will be available. The only other time I will take off is the evening of New Year's Eve. I refuse to be out on the road with the drunks.
