1099 from Lender Processing Services, Jacksonville, FL

601 Riverside Ave, 3rd Fl.

Anyone know who that's from? Called the number and they answered Lender Processing Services. Must be for some company in FL, but don't know which one. If nobody knows, I'll find out tomorrow. Figured someone else got a 1099 from them so thought I might save the aggravation of a call.

TIA

JJ

Think you're right. Rings a bell, anyway.

On the negative side, I've only gotten one so far that was right. Some a bit high, some a bit low. I ignore them anyway and use 'my' figures--which I know are correct.

Re: Can't be LSI - I've got seperate 1009 from them

Today I got an LSI and Lenders Processing 1099, different money, but the paperwork was just alike.

LSI would be my guess because their logo says they are

a Lender Processing Services company. I've not received a 1099 from LSI or from LPS and I did do closings for them in 2009.

I got a call from them not so long ago and I think

I took the assignment - but I can't remember who it was...<<mutter>>...I know it wasn't LSI -

I'll post if I find it...<<cursing senior moments>>

I closed for LSI and Fiserve last year...

However, my LSI closings are much more than the 1099, and I think the Fiserve closings came through somebody else. FiServe loans are an extra $50 for me, so that's possible for what it may be. Haven't done a FiServe loan in quite a while. If they don't pay to play, I don't stay. My fees are fair, and that's why I still have my hair! LOL

There are others, too. Motherload, for instance.

Ok. I admit it. I'm behind in my data entry. {eyeroll}

What I do is in the 'Memo' field, I put relevant info, like the Bo's name and the hiring entity.

I've got some entering to do...but, thankfully, only one mystery third party payer.
