Look at their schedule of fees on the last page. They pay a whooping $70 for eDocs!! And check out the list at the bottom of the reductions. Pass.

Agreed - in fact, with the deductions you could end up paying them to do the closing! And what's up with doing a second loan for $25???? That just covers my print fee - are we supposed to facilitate signing of the second loan for free??? Sorry, I'll pass on this opportunity.
Standard: Overnight Documents $55 Email Documents $70 Re-sign Documents <50 pages (Not Signing Agent Error) $25 Re-sign Documents >50 pages (Not Signing Agent Error) $50 Additional Loan (2nd loan; closing simultaneously) $25 (added to amount above)
Special Requests If we need documents faxed immediately following settlement: Fax <20 pages (within 30 minutes of signing) $15 Fax >20 pages (within 30 minutes of signing) $25
Reductions from Fees for Unsatisfactory Service No confirmation call to borrower within 4 hours of acceptance of order $10 No call upon completion of signing before 9 AM following day $15 If message left no tracking information provided $10 Arrive late to settlement $25 Incomplete or incorrect signing TBD Movement of appointment without permission (unless requested by customer) $10 Untimely Fax if agreed upon upfront (more than 1 hour post settlement) $15

One more goody in their contract:
BACKGROUND CHECK: The SIGNING AGENT agrees to allow AVENUE 365 to conduct a background check on the SIGNING AGENT, and furthermore the SIGNING AGENT agrees that AVENUE 365 will deduct the cost of this background check from their payment for services rendered, as detailed in Exhibit C.

I received and email today to sign up also. However, after looking at their fee schedule I decided to pass.

I too just got the e-mail about Avenue 365. Thought that since they were close to home, it might be worth taking a look at the sign up stuff. Started getting those bad feelings as I was reading all the things to do for them, then once I got to the fee payment and deduction schedule, I decided that it is not worth my time to fill out the forms. Thank you Notary Rotary!

Ilene and Others,
I was the one that sent out the "Business Opportunity" Email. If you had throughly read the "fees" page you would have seen the last note, which states that the prices on the sheet are just guidelines. All of our prices are negotiable and well will happily accommodate individuals prices as long as they are reasonable, you would just have to attach note with your pricing on it so we can consider it. This also applies to the background check, if you do not wish include it in your application just make a note on the page and we will review it.
Thank you,
Troy from Avenue 365
