Closing.com
Anyone heard of them? I received a solicitation from them. I seem to be bombarded lately with solicitations. Also this one: www.LocateNotary.com Is anyone else getting these? Most of these just take your money and don't bring you any business. But I'm curious if anyone else has had experiences with them.

I just plugged my zip code in to LocateNotary.com - no listings within 50 miles. Sorry, no way would they get my money.
Closing.com was interesting... it didn't list any individual notaries but it DID list quite a few familiar signing services and stated what those SS would charge for the job. What was interesting is that all the SS are charging pretty much the same thing that I would charge if I was hired directly, so no wonder we are bombarded with low fee offers!

Re: www.LocateNotary.com
I, also, found no listings within 50 miles of my home ZIP Code. Am I willing to be the first in my service area to throw $40 at them for a one-year listing? Nooooo, not a chance! I have found over the years there's just a handfull of directories ... NR being one of them ... that consistently produce results for me. I stopped long ago on gambling (and wasting my hard-earned $$'s) on wannabe's.

I feel the same way John does. I get emails almost daily from the new directory wanting my money..these days its best to stick to the best..Not Rot being one of them..Just my 2 cents!
By the way I have a listing on closing .com it was free so why not..
