DocPros in Murietta Ca politely advised they bounced my

check for $20.00. They shorted my first paycheck by $20.00. When I brought it their attention that they needed to pay me the additional $20.00 as agreed, they sent it. I just deposited it, and got their email that it was an accounting mistake on their end. They now say the funds are there and will pay any fees I've incurred because of same. They seem very professional about all of this. However, they may be another company we need to watch carefully.

VERY VERY Professional

Mud Slide? They contacted me immediately, BEFORE their check ever hit my bank. That, I would say is VERY VERY professional! My bank is aware and are prepared to deal with it. They said no fees or charges would be incurred by me or DocPros. I am so upset with all the negativity on this board. Remeber the saying, $hit happens. One or two negative posts about an UPSTANDING company can ruin them overnight. Knock it off!

I stongly suggest you give DocPros the benefit of the doubt.

You can't fault people for being a little gun shy..

How many times have we seen some of the better companies go down in flames that started with this bounced check issue? I'm not saying these people are going down. I've worked for them, and never had any problems, but the question is; How well are they capitalized? Will this downturn cause them to pay themselves first and everyone else later, or not at all?

For S. Peterson, are you saying that I don't doubt they are

professional?

I'm glad that you both received

a warning about this; however, there are others on this forum who had to contact this company recently about the rubber checks.

Re: I'm glad that you both received

I never had anything but positive experiences with DocPros... they are one of the few services that I still work with. Sad to see the reports.

Re: I'm glad that you both received

They've been good to me and have never had any issues with them yet. Just deposited a check from them with no problem to my knowledge. Checked my bank account online as soon as I read this to see if there was a chargeback. There wasn't, for me anyway. I've very much enjoyed working with them in the past, and hope this isn't a sign of hard times for them.
