Federal taxes--Making Pay Work Credit

I know this was discussed earlier. I did not calculate the credit & apparently Turbo Tax overlooked it.
I got a letter from the IRS today, saying that I qualified & would be issued a refund check. Great news!
It was a great relief to know it wasn't an audit.
Heads up for those who were concerned about it.

Thanks for this info Marilynn

I have my taxes done but haven't filed them yet - want to go over them one more time - and since I use TurboTax I'm going to make sure to look for this credit.

Thanks again!!

If your adjusted gross income is over $75K, you can't get it.

How do you put smiley faces on here?

You guys keep stickin those around and I don't know how to do that. :-)

I saw this deduction posted on here before, and I always look at anything that's a potential deduction, as my CPA might miss something. I'll certainly look at anything at all for a write-off or a deduction that's legit.

Re: How do you put smiley faces on here?

colon + close parentheses = smiley...Smile

semicolon + close parentheses - wink...Wink

colon + P = stick your tongue out at someone....NaNa

Just another chapter of useless information I have...Smile

The point I was making is that if you miss it you will get it anyway.
