I was contacted by Fortis Title to complete a signing on 2-19. The documents did not come and I was told it would be Mon. On Mon when I called the company the person answered South Coast Title, but said the name was changed to Fortis Title. The closing was put off until today so I thought I would check NR for info. The threads for South Coast were not good. I called the contact person Joan and told her what I found out. She did admit there were pmt issues when checks were being issued out of Ca. She said I would be put on the hud-1 and that she is cutting the checks. So I will give a company a chance to redeem themselves. Time will tell.

The name changed? Fortis Title Solutions was registered as a "Foreign" Corporation back in 2008. Here's the Florida Corp info:
