This city is fired up! On my way home from church this morning there was a guy standing in front of his subdivision waving a huge flag just to get people to honk at him. The spirit of New Orleans is impossible to describe! I really hope they win. Either way, I know I'll watch a few grown men cry tonight....

My dear friends scheduled a trip to NOLA back

in October. They didn't see this coming. They flew into NOLA last week. Were staying a couple of days in the French Quarter at the Royal Sonesta then driving up into MS...then back today to enjoy the French Quarter before coming home tomorrow. I'd have been tempted to cancel my trip!

BTW, Frenchie is right with the "who dat" phrase. The NFL actually tried to stop stores from selling any items saying "who dat" claiming they owned it. People went nuts. I heard the NFL backed down and said as long as the symbol of the team (fleur de lis) isn't printed with the words, it would be ok.

New Orleans needs no reason to have a party or parade...its a 'just because city'! If the Saints pull this off (win) the parade will last a week at least!

Manning is a machine looking cement a legacy---we will see Colts...
