HELP!! Virginia to Maryland Notary

I am a notary in Virginia and have been doing this 4 years. All of a sudden my husband is being transferred to Maryland. I looked up being a Md and it looks like I am screwed. I am not a title producer and unfortunately I do not not have credit scores of 670 or better and definitely don't have a credit line of 100k. Is this now the requirements to become a signing agent in Maryland? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The bond requirements are now $150,000. Call the Marland Land Title Assocation, they can help you get started with title insurance prelicensing. http://www.mdlta.org/Education/PreLicensing/tabid/60/Default.aspx

I'm confused. I thought Virginia also had a TLP requirment. If so, I believe there is some type of reciprocity agreement between the two states. The Surety Bond is another issue totally.
