Loss of a good friend and SA

I'm posting this in the Discuss Work section so more will see. I just received a call that NR good friend -- Manfred Ronnish -- Manfred/MI passed away yesterday. Manfred was a daily reader of this forum for the past 7 years even though he was not a frequent poster. Manny has been battling cancer for the past two years and lost his fight yesterday. He will be missed by a great many SA here in South East Michigan. If anyone needs more info, call me.

Do not remember the name off hand, but very sad to hear of his passing. Cancer is such an ugly word, some day I believe they will find a cure for most forms of this killer.

Oh, how freaky

Honest to God, I was thinking of him two nights ago and wondering how his battle was going.

I had not spoke to him in about a year--when he left to FL for the winter he told me about his illness then. How I loved his German accent!

Thanks Dorothy....I STILL cannot get over the fact he was JUST on my mind.

to you for your loss, Dotti - I know you and Manny were good friends. I did have the pleasure of speaking to him once, and I thought he was a real nice man - I'm sure he was a wonderful friend.
