Re: Nations Signature Closers.
<< Not many professions pay 100.00 for an hour. >>
I take offense at this statement and it shows that you do NOT understand the full scope of our job as a notary signing agent. We are AT THE TABLE for an hour with your borrowers (sometimes less, sometimes longer, and sometimes MUCH longer) but what about the time it takes to travel to the appointment which could be across town and take 30 minutes to an hour to get to EACH WAY?
What about all the time we spend waiting for docs, and then the time it takes to print the docs, familiarize ourselves with the package, etc? Then after the signing, it takes time to go over the package as part of our quality control process to make sure there are no errors and therefore no issues with funding. What about the expenses we have for vehicle, phone, printing equipment, etc?
Some jobs take a shorter amount of time than others, but I am insulted that you even insinuate that we get $100 for one hour of work.

Agreed Copperhead
Hmmm, $100 minus the edoc fee = $75 Now lets subtract some expenses such as operation of our vehicles, and other consumables to operate an office such as electricity, our cell phone, insurance, taxes, yada yada. Lets say an honest $10 per job, just a guess, probably on the low side. We are now down to $65. Now divide by the average 3 hours for a COMPLETE job from start to finish rounded up equals $22 an hour. This is a far cry from a $100 an hour.

Not only that, my experience with this company is that they do not pay $100.00 - a representative of the company told me if I would drop my fee to $85.00 I would be higher on their call list!!

That's what I was confirmed for in their database
$85 - plus $20 (I believe it was) for e-docs - well below my fee and not at all the fee schedule I provided to them.

Replying to emails is not the probem. I think we can handle that. Most of us work for more than one company and yes, we will get back to you regarding the loan status. Maybe you could give us a phone # with a person on the other end, and we can call you from the road. That way we can stay dedicated to our clients too .

Re: Nations Signature Closers.
In that you are now paying $100.00 for an hour I assume that you now pay somewhere between $300-400 per closing in that they do take that long. I thank you for the increase in your fees.
