I have done a lot of work for these people in the past but now I am having trouble getting them to pay me. Just wondering if anyone is having this problem. Everytime this has happen the company has gone backrupt. Getting nervouse.

Use the orange search button. There have been a number of comments about them lately.

I have done work for them currently and they have always paid without my having to hunt them down. I am just not a fan of the fax backs with them. Smile

I did get paid, but after 60 days. Must be a cash flow issue.

Don't do many for them, but, in the past, have always received a check within 20-35 days.
Then... did one the end of Oct., Ck dated 11/15, but it wasn't mailed until early Dec. Next one, in Jan. is at 40 days now. Agree with Linda...getting nervous.

Turned down 3 closings for them in the last 2 days, explained to scheduler that I haven't been paid for closings they owe me for from Nov. 2009, and that I will not do anymore of their closings and want to be paid. They tell me that they will have someone from accounts payable call and surprise, NO ONE CALLS! They are beginning to have the look of LFC just before they closed their doors and filed bankruptcy. I've made 4 calls this week, sent invoices to accounts payable 3 times and not a word from anyone. Good Luck on getting paid.

They've called me for at least five signings since I decided to (sadly) cut ties with them over this payment fiasco - each time I tell them no and ask them to please remove me from their call list. They act surprised, but say OK. Then, the next call comes, and I say the same thing. They say they'll take care of it. Then I get another call, etc. etc. I liked all their schedulers - Ladrina, Leo, Jayson, etc. whom I have worked with over the years - but I just don't have what at takes anymore to do battle for my $$$$. I really liked what John Schenk, our Texas titan, said the other day: If we want to do charity work, we'll pick our charity and it sure ain't gonna be anybody in the title/real estate/lending industry. I got to thinking today that maybe other people in my area have also started turning them down and that's why they keep calling me - out of desperation, hoping to wear me down. But then after that post today by Jacqueline, looking for her money from SOX, I guess there will always be plenty of suckers out there to take these nonpaying jobs (and I, unfortunately, have to include myself in that category - only thing that's changed is that I learn alot faster now and cut my losses quicker. Oh - and check SC! Yea! )

They're into me for $150.

And, that's it until it's paid.

I suspect they'll go under before they pay me.

And if they don't.....I'll still say no...until things clear up....or get black.

I just want paid, don't need to deal with this from any company. I have worked with this company for almost 10 years and never had a problem before, now I just want my money and they can find someone else to do their work.
