If this is Svetlana's company, she will not pay if the loan does not close! Otherwise, I have always been paid in a reasonable time. I no longer work for her due to the above policy.

Call and speak with either Steve or Svetlana direct!
I have been working with Notaries Express, Steve and Svetlana for several years and have never had a problem getting paid. Fortunately I have never had a loan that did not close so did not have to deal with the no fund no pay policy.
I have always found everyone who works for their company to be friendly, professional and right there for you if you need anything at all.

Re: Call and speak with either Steve or Svetlana direct!
When I accepted the job, I questioned Hadassah about this policy. She said I would get paid at least half. since it was very close, I accepted it. Svetlana was very rude to me when I spoke to her on the phone.

Bill, it's important to include more info such as location, person you dealth with, etc. It adds validity to your post. You should always use SC to post no pay issues so everyone will be able to see. IMO

Bill, The reason you were NOT paid is because we had to hire another notary to make corrections to your signing. You MISSED LOTS OF SIGNATURES, DATES WERE SCREWED UP - - NEED A JURAT ON THE COMPLIANCE AGREEMENT. Because of your mistakes, the funding of the file was held up and borrower ended up paying additional $$ on interest. Also, the fee for your signing was waived due to all your mistakes. We also had to pay Fed EX fees for the docs that were not correctly signed and dated. If you need to reach anyone, please email me at [e-mail address] Sorry to make this public..

With respect to your no close/no pay policy...I certainly would hope that you disclose this policy to your signing agents up front in your confirmation. If so, it is what is known in contract law as a "Condition Subsequent" which the signing agent may accept or reject at his/her option.
If you do not disclose it, and try to impose it after the closing is completed the policy becomes nothing more that an attempt to modify the contract which is not effective unless the signing agent agrees to it, and payment is legally due the signing agent in the event that he/she does not agree to it.

No fund, no pay
Kevin- yes the policy is disclosed on our confirmation and is emailed to each signing agent prior to any app.

Re: No fund, no pay
Well it seems that they are trying to get out of paying said fee's ,, I have a secretary to look over all signed doc's to make sure that all is signed , dated and stamped with seal . They have listed that everything was incorrect from signing , dates and no seal , just a ploy to get out of paying .
This makes it look bad for some of the other companies that have a lower scoring bracket that need doc's signed and trying to find someone to help out . Well that what I did for this company and I end up getting scr_wed out of said fee's ,,, If you don't plan on paying your closers ,we will find you and spread the word . NOTARIES EXPRESS ,,,, your name is out there

Bill, please read our instructions on the invoice/confirmation... I will email you the email from title and will provide you with the tracking numbers for the docs that were missed. Not trying to not pay you. Secretaries should not double check work for signing agents. I will also forward all the email to you from Steve/Lisa on Monday.
