OT - need help with php code asap, pls
Help, please!
Some evil person just hacked one of my websites. It is written in php code and my wonderful tech retired and I have no knowledge of where in the US or elsewhere he is.
Does anyone know php or know a tech who knows it and can get the nasty hacker code off my site for me?
Sorry for posting on main board. This is just hugely bad timing for this to happen right now. Last fall - not so bad.
Yikes and thanks for any help you can give! LauraV

Hi, Laura - I have no idea what you're talking about being a techno-idiot myself, but if this were me I would immediately message/call PAW for starts .... just a suggestion. Good luck!

You need to contact Glen Strickland (I think that's his name) he's one of the guru's here.

Contact the company that hosts your website
They will know what to do.
I don't know much about PHP code, but people at the company that hosts your site should know. If they don't know, then I assume you own your domain name and you can move that domain name to a different server and still retain the same internet address. Unfortunately this type of problem is above my pay grade ...
Good Luck ....

I've written complete applications in PHP and know a little about security as well. If your site has been cracked, your server may have been cracked as well.
