Re: Provident Funding....is the lender
who requires $500K E&O of the notaries that close their loans. Not sure they hire directly..
Some companies say they have the $500k covered (umbrella) but one company told me they now required $1m in coverage of the Ss's.....I've also heard Provident doesn't accept the "umbrella" concept and the notary him/herself must carry the $500k.

Re: Provident Funding....is the lender
I have worked for SS's who carried enough E&O to cover the notary for Provident signings.

Did you search just for "topics" or also "individual messages"? If unsure, this is selected from the drop down menu next to "Search for". I suspect this may be why lots of people have trouble finding things. It can make a huge difference.
There must be lots of information here about Provident.

Have had a few, not lately, and they didn't seem too hung up about the E&O--maybr drsperate.

Re: Provident Funding--very picky folks
no corrections, they will re-draw instead of correcting things such as a wrong middle initial.
They really want perfection...which is how we should be working anyway...the $500k e&o has always been covered by the hiring party IME.
