Signing Pro no-pay
Recently had a signing with Signing Pro (Reeves Hary) & borrower was a no-show. Printed 2 sets of docs and drove over 70 miles round trip. Signing Pro refused to pay me their normal reduced fee for travel/printing. They said the title agency had cancelled that morning. Signing Pro did not notify me. They said since the title company had notified them they could not get a fee from them & therefore could not pay me. I know we're low on the totem pole but this is no way treat anyone. I have done many closings for Signing Pro over the years & have bent over backward to do a good job. I guess that doesn't mean much to them. Be careful dealing with them.

Sounds like you were the only one left out of the loop
TC knew and canceled in the morning and borrowers a no-show...are you sure you didn't miss a call?
I'd bill them a print and trip fee anyway ... since you weren't notified you should be compensated .. or, if your business relationship with them is that good, maybe just let it go this time? Call them - if you like them and they like you, you all should be able to reach a mutually agreeable compromise.

Looking in SC for this co doesn't bode well for
anyone looking at their reputation.Loyalty doesn't seem to exist at all in this business anymore.Sounds like that old game show; Who do you trust?

Sounds like maybe you'll be bending over the other way now, I'm sorry to say.

Did you rate them in SC? Giving more than 1 star?
I noticed that someone rated them on 2/9 and referenced travel/print fees. If this was you, my question is why would you give more than 1 star? A SS company that does not appreciate loyalty and the times you went the extra mile for them does not deserve above a 1-star. If they didn't call you, they dropped the ball. They should pay you.
I would invoice them and treat it like a non paying account until you get paid. From your post, it seems that you already contacted them --
"They said the title agency had cancelled that morning. Signing Pro did not notify me. They said since the title company had notified them they could not get a fee from them & therefore could not pay me."
If they didn't contact you, they dropped the ball and you should be compensated for it. IMO
