Truly Mobile Closings
I already used the orange search button and have all that info and inserted my own experiences lately but I just want to know if anyone is having to wait longer and longer to get paid. Over 60 days now and always stalling in her responses to my queries on when to expect pay't. Was told on the 13th of Feb. that she was receiving a batch of checks from title and she would get back to me. She has not gotten back and has not responded to my last two emails. Anyone else having this problem currently?

Nancy,
I was owed payment from Dec. I finally contacted Diana a couple of weeks ago..She told me that checks were delayed due to snow..but she received a batch and miracles mine was in there and it would be mailed..Well another 2 weeks goes by no check. I called again mon and she apologized and issued a new check..I did receive it yesterday..I will not celebrate until I cash it!

Funny, the snow did not delay my bills coming but for a day or two. Strange how the bills continue to come but the payments get held up due to the snow...

If you can't pay the notaries you contract with you do not belong in this business. Running/owning a SS is for PROFESSIONALS, not some part time, try and make a few extra bucks gig.

I have to say that I am completely satisfied with the way Truly Mobile Closings operates their business. Dianna is completely professional, friendly, upfront and honest. Never have I had an issue where a phone call or an email didn't get returned. I know this is not a part time gig for her trying to make a few extra bucks but a full time, around the clock running business. I will continue to work with Dianna as I have not experienced any problems with the way she runs her company. I have dealt with many other who are rude and unprofessional that who haven't paid invoices over 60 days.

I have done several over the last year for this company. I have never had an issue with payment. Always very nice to work with as well.

I am waiting on payment for two closings
One 12/15/09, the other 2/3/2010...took the second one only because the LO requested me..
I got the same story - getting a batch of checks in...delayed due to snow (I do know they did get a lot of snow up where she is - VA)...getting to the end of my rope - I'm away this weekend but she told me she was cutting my checks this past Monday - if I don't have checks in when I get back I'm filing suit on the December signings.
She does not pay the notary until she gets paid.

Think I should add here too...
you are now the fourth notary I know of that she owes money to for over 60 days....this is not looking good.

Re: I am waiting on payment for two closings
Truly Mobile Closings is located in Culpeper County. She's called me before for jobs but we could not come to terms on fee. Culpeper got snow as we all did, but I seriously doubt the snow would hold up mail services for more than a few days. Looking at her location on aerial view via MapQuest, she is operating in the middle of farm country and if she doesn't have 4WD maybe she could not get into town for a week to mail her checks, but I find the snow excuse to be just that - an excuse. We all had ample warning that the snow was coming and she could have gotten her checks mailed out BEFORE getting snowed in.
The schools have been back open in Culpeper since Feb 17th and the schools stay closed until every bus route is clear, so even if most of the streets in the county are clear the school system will remain closed if some of the outlying areas cannot yet be accessed by school bus. That doesn't mean that the postal system isn't running, though!
There are previous reports of 60 days from date of service with no pay - this is precisely why I don't like to accept closings from notaries who farm out work.

I have worked with Dianna for over a year now and it's been nothing but a pleasure. It is true that it takes a while to get paid for closings but I have ALWAYS been paid. One of the bigger clients she works with takes a while to pay her...we don't get paid until she gets paid. And Dianna always gets back to me if I have a question or concern. Like I said, she is a pleasure to do business with and I am thankful for all of the business she sends me.

<< we don't get paid until she gets paid >>
That means she does not have enough capital to adequately run her business. Her arrangements with her TC clients are hers - she is obligated to pay the notary irregardless if the TC pays her or not.
