Vermont Notaries: a heads-up

I just turned down a request for a signing tomorrow in Williston from Genuine Title in Maryland, because of my one previous experience with them. There are many posts if you use the orange search button.

I think you did the right thing. Konstantin Safir is a liar, and Genuine Title still owes me money from a year ago.
Is not Vermont an attorney only State?

I agree. My experience was similar to yours, although I was paid, months later, after having contacted the lender who contacted the title company. No, Vermont is not an attorney only state.

Thanks for the information!
I think that the NNA published a map, and some information about 'Attorney States' a couple of years ago (yes, I use to be a member)I should have known not to rely on what they say.

Seems like it was Delaware, Georgia, Massachusetts (*attorney supervision of Notary) South Carolina, Vermont, and West Virginia listed as ‘Attorney only States’
