Weird phone calls

I start receiving phone calls appointing me for a signing, with fees, city, and never sent confirmation.

I got this particular one this morning, she said her name was Stephanie from First American Title.

As I did not receive confirmation I started calling her back and I only got the recording.

So I went into the Reverse Lookup and the number was a cell number in Grand Prarire, unpublished

Then besides having all those fees issues, now is this game of calling and getting nothing, zip, and thinking on the appointment, I have to decline another offer.

These SS with their own problems, lost respect for what is a Notary Public.

Some hiring co's don't send out CL but in your case when they call you back if they will, just let them know that since you are working directly with them, have them put your name in the HUD(maybe against the new rules)or have the borrower pay you at the signing table(POC). The POC has been using it by some SS lately.

In Texas, Ntary fees are included in the "escrow fees".
I'vs asked this and was told fees paid to the Notary can not be broken out.

Without a confirmation in hand, and being unable to call her back, I would not decline other offers that come in. When I get a call, unless the company I give them 30-45 minutes to get a confirmation to me then I will try to call them back. If I can't contact them then my time is still open.

I've had occasion where I've been told "I won't be able to send the confirmation until later today" - fine, as long as they understand that until I receive the confirmation my time is open for other assignments.

Hence, unpublished #'s??? Just a guess.
