What is a Notary Rotary Premium Membership
Hi! I've been a basic member for a little while now. When I click on my profile, a thing comes up that says I can be a premium member and it lists the cost. What it does not list, is what a premium membership entails..you know what does it get you? If you are a premium member, would you mind telling me how you like it and what it is. Thanks!!

Click on "The Library" at the top right tab. Then select "Notary Membership Levels" for a description of the different levels.

The biggest benefit is that you will be listed on the top tier of the search results instead of the bottom tier. One job you otherwise would not have gotten will pay for the premier listing. Discounts on the fabulous notary supplies are great, too!

I was a premiere member for a month - NR offers monthly premium listings, a great way to see how the marketing dollars work in these times. Between yesterday and today, I was offered and turned down:
$65 - single refi, edocs, 30+ miles from home $85 - single refi, edocs $85 - reverse mortgage, edocs
Last Friday evening, I completed an FHA purchase signing (7 miles from home), I picked up the printed docs from the mortgage broker, got them signed, notarized and returned them to mortgage broker (2 miles from home). $150 is the fee I get from Escrow.

Lisa, were the 3 you turned down all from your NR listing &
are you saying the one you accepted Friday night was NOT from your NR listing? I have been trying to decide for a while now if I want to upgrade but I get a lot of business from another listing site as well as long established contacts with TC's and lenders.

Re: Lisa, were the 3 you turned down all from your NR listing &
Not sure if all the lowballers found me here. I usually ask but for some reason, didn't bother to ask. The Friday signing was not from any directory listing. I met the mortgage broker at a networking breakfast meeting and for the past year and a half, see him at least once every other month. I may try a few more months of the premium listing to see how it goes - and this time, I will make sure I ask the caller where they saw my listing.
I still work with a few SS's that meet my fee and there's no handholding.

I have to agree. That was the biggest reason for me to become a paid member.

I regard the membership as advertising. Your choice if you
want to be at the top of the list or the bottom. From my own experience, I got no calls as a basic member but lots of calls with Premium Membership. It has paid for itself many times over. I love the community here at NR, participate in the forum, and have never had anything but great service from NR when it came to supplies or E&O insurance. I don't go anywhere else. Also, now there is a free fax service available to you. What more could you ask for?
