Backdating Comment on AR......Interesting....

This is a comment made to a blog on AR about backdating. The original blog is trying to get some feedback out of LO's and brokers on the subject. When I first saw this, my initial reaction was "WHAT??"" I intend on replying to this comment to see exactly how this would be legal. I would like this person to explain themselves a little better in their opinion.

Here is the comment:
"lets not get too bitter about this back dating... in my opinion there are still cases on where this back dating can be legal and can serve in good ways...."

Depends on what the poster is referring to as far as "backdating" is concerned. Obviously, there are many documents which carry an effective date much earlier than the notarial/signing date. But, that begs the question, "What is backdating, really?"

Exactly, this poster doesnt really explain their opinion, its kind of a broad statement. The original blog is about the Notary being asked to backdate their notarizations so Im curious as to this posters position on this.
