Does anybody use the Gmail calendar?
I have been using it for about 4 years and I've recently noticed that I only have the past 2 years left in my events. I really need the other 2 and don't know how to retrieve them or if its even possible. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks,

I use it! I like it because it's more simple and user friendly than outlook (I am not the most computer savvy person ) I also sync it with my blackberry storm, so whenever I enter an appt. on my computer it automatically appears in my phone as well

I also use GMAIL calendar but I only started doing so
last year. I just tried to pull up the 2007 calendar in GMAIL and was able to do so without any trouble. I simply used the "back" arrow on the monthly calendar that is right below the headings:
Create Event Quick Add Tasks
It worked for me. I hope it works for you. If this doesn't make sense, call me.

Personally in my opinion, using an online calendar, or anything where you have personal data stored on someone elses server in not an especially good idea. Google and Yahoo both have had their documented security issues with their servers. Plus, data is lost more often than these companies would like to admit. I have heard these stories many times before I read your post.
It's a simple task to use a calendar program on your desktop computer and sync it with whatever hand held you own. It's much more secure, also.

I write my closings on my huge calendar on my 3 ft by 2 ft calendar hanging on the wall. That's where I book'em, Danno (From old Hawaii 5-0). They go on that calendar. I print out my confirmations. They also go on the calendar downstairs on the firm calendar, so that is a backup to my physical BIG calendar that stares me in my face every day, which also keeps my Statute of Limitations deadlines. It's the most important calendar, for business, in my life. If I miss a deadline, the firm I work for is in a malpractice situation. I also use my Palm calender program for alerts. Those have served me well for many years. I LOVE the PALM alerts, and probably need to update to something else one day. I'm a bit behind on all the new stuff, but very happy to incorporate something new, as long as I don't have to get another damned new cell phone. LOL
