I received the same e-mail so don't feel bad. I believe they are trying to drum up business.

Threatening someone with collections if they don't renew a membership seems a bit strange. Especially if you have never done business with them. WOW!

I'm constantly getting junk from them
and got that same e-mail today too - it went where all the others went - in the trash...
I think I was signed with them my first year in business - haven't been signed with them since...I agree - think they're trying to drum up business.

Someone I don't think I'd want to affiliate with!
Don't know anything about them, but if that is how they choose to go about drumming up memberships, it doesn't bode well for their integrity. NOT at all attractive to me - in fact, I find that approach a complete turnoff.

If this is a legitimate demand for payment you have a right to an itemized accounting of what you are being billed for. Request that they produce it.

They also show up in a google search as operators of "Ames Exotic Wildlife" and also are listed as a property management firm. Looks like they'll do anything to make a buck.

I wrote back about the "Collections"
I got the same email. I paid for a listing a year or so ago. I wrote back telling them the threat of collections is probably not the best angle to use. I'm reworking my entire advertising strategy. Last year's strategy is in the trash as of last week.

If you dig around you will find they are affiliated
(or, ARE) "Notary Don't Close".
There's nothing there to encourage me to dig any deeper.
Their silly email is some of the most ridiculouos marketing I have ever seen.

Re: If you dig around you will find they are affiliated
Got it.
Pulled out the digital camera.
Placed my right hand in between the monitor and the camera.
Took a shot, placed it in an email, and replied back to their message inserting the picture.
I'll give you two guesses what the hand was doing ......... :o]
