Enjoying Freedom!

I have gone Full-Time as a Signing Agent and so far, so good. I am enjoying the fact that the time is my own and that I call the shots as to what I choose to do for the day. Although the Loan Signing business is in a slump, Refi business seems to be up, as well as Reverse Mortgages. I am making decent money. Anyone else in the North Central Florida Area having good business, and... what are the TOP THREE companies you would recommend doing business with?

SOX, Closing Quest and EFS

You really think anyone will just hand out their best clients?

Nope, not giving away a thing, but sure...I would assist if someone asked me who I have used. That's the purpose of the listing that is here on Rotary Notary. I know I do a good job, so I am more than happy to network! Florida notaries however do have quite a few more freedoms a and opportunities than a lot of the other states, so we have a broader spectrum of what we can choose to do.

Tracy, we won't give away everything!

Since your profile shows that you cover the Ocala area, as I do, why in the world would I supplant my services by providing my resources to you?

It's not that hard to do your own research, maybe even trading 'secrets' with other agents who are not in the same competitive area.

I am wondering what freedoms I have that other notaries from other states may have. How are my opportunities different? Is that how and why there is a broader spectrum of what I am able to choose to do? What am I missing in opportunities that other's may have that I haven't thought of? Broader spectrum? Is this a Rainbow opportunity? Is that like a revelation or something?

You lost me on this statement. Please clarify. TIA

Use the orange search button ....

The info is here. You might have to do some research. While the bad companies seem to be universal, the best ones seem to be geographical. Good Luck.

Congrats on becoming your own boss. This is not a good time for this business. Very experienced agents are having a difficult time rounding up enough work. If you are a Premium member here on NR you can access Signing Central, which will give you some ratings on different companies. You might also do a search by your zip code & city to see how much competition you are up against. This is a highly competitive business, and it is doubtful other agents are willing to help you take their business. LOL

Re: Wish I could get that many, not often enough.

Thank you all for your informative, and sometimes stabbingly nasty remarks. I am actually somewhat surprised at some of the comments made here. I was merely asking if there were any particular companies that any of you would personally recommend. I know that I can look up companies and their ratings here on Notary Rotary (which I have done) and contact them myself (which I have done) however, I wanted second opinions, more information, etc. Although some of your thoughts were that we "should not share our sources" I totally disagree, and so do some others, as I have had some others share information in the past. And, yes Notary Rotary is a source of networking as well. That is indeed just one of the reasons I use it. So, on I go with my business, which is doing well so far, and will assist anyone out there that feels they may want my help. Thank you again!
