Firefox
As everyone who uses Firefox knows, it has had some speed issues. I am a beta tester for Firefox in both the Windows version and the Ubuntu Linux versions.
There is now an update available that seems to take care of the speed issues. It is lot faster again. I have been using it for a couple of weeks and there seems to be no compatibility issues with any of the software we may use in the loan business. It appears to be as fast as Google Chrome without the security issues.
If you quit Firefox because of the speed issues, download the updates or the new version. I think you will notice a substantial difference. It was just released today.

I think it's on auto update....
as I went to the site and it said their were no new updates for Firefox. I clicked on "Help" and then "Check for updates." Said I'm good to go, so I guess I am. LOL Really haven't had any speed issues with Firefox. I sure like it MUCH better than IE.

3.5.7 is the latest, afaik
and the speed has been acceptable. Much faster in some respects than IE and, of course, much safer.

Auto update. I provided an easy link because a few people may have uninstalled Firefox as it was a real pain depending on the add ons.

Mozilla Firefox 6 is available as a release candidate as an update from the Firefox 6 beta. I have it but it eliminate some features from previous versions especially the ie tab. I still evaluating.
