Kind of sobering...

....got to the back 15-20 pp of my 130+ page doc pkg and found a HUD, a payoff response from Wells Fargo and sig affs...for ANOTHER SET OF BORROWERS. Yikes! Called and was advised by hiring party to just ignore them, but send them in with the package. I'd hate for my information to be bandied about like that.

Had the same thing happen in a package couple of weeks ago. Difference being, I was told to destroy the wrong docs. Seems to be happening more often than we'd like it to.

Did you print a copy for the borrower? Smile

You, of course, pull that copy as soon as you realize the mistake and tear those up while explaining to your borrowers that those pages do not apply to them and shove them in your briefcase to dispose of when you get to your shredder.

I waited and waited on a hud one night only to have them send me a hud for the wrong borrowers.
