Legal Paper Deal

Wow! It isn't often I come across a good deal but I did today. Let me cut to the chase. (Sometimes I am long-winded). Sams Club sold me two cases of legal paper for $7.76 each. Granted the cases had been open and I'll have to toss at least 4 sheets of paper from each box.

Now for the long version of the story. I rarely go to Sam's. Costco is my store of choice for office supplies. But I was at Sam's today and decided to check prices. I noticed boxes of legal with just 5 reams of paper for $21 each. Then I hit the lotto by finding these two boxes.

Of course this could just be a local thing but I tell you what! I'll be stopping in Sam's Club from now on once a month to check. This same thing happened to me at Costo earlier this year. They were holdling onto damaged boxes of legal paper but refused to lower the price. I even talked to two managers and they wouldn't budge by even $1. That really ticked me off. It looks to me as if Sam's Club is using common sense.

Only NSA's can appreciate how happy this made me today. I haven't stopped grinning yet.

I'm going to check my local Sams as I am out of paper too.

Thanks for the tip...

What a deal. Smile

I do not really like either Sams or Costco for food items as those stupid ginormous boxes of cereal get wasted and take up too much space, and I get better deals at walmart, but gas was 21 cents cheaper at Sams and I think Costco has a higher membership fee and Costco seems to close really early.

I think Sam's has more national brands, Kirkland reigns supreme at Costco and I hated everything Kirkland. Love the paper deals and I get my Dome notary journal delivered to my door via Sams for 9 bucks and my 2010 dayminder was delivered to my door for $10.

I went to the Sams club web site and found some paper for $1801.00 no joke. I am sure it was a typo. I did not see any for $9 or $10. I would love to get some myself.

ROFL!

Re-read her post - she said: " Dome notary journal delivered to my door via Sams for 9 bucks and my 2010 dayminder was delivered to my door for $10. " Not paper, unless you count that the journal and dayminder are paper.

This is my favorite kind of discussion. Telling me where I can save money. Thanks. I think I'm going to Sam's. Deals are better than the sale prices at O.D. and Staples.
