Type "Mortgage Connect" into search on Notary Talk page.

Repeat search. Leave the "LP" off. Plenty of info.

They just called me to sign up with them. Found out they pay $75 which includes edocs printing and 20 pages of faxbacks. Umm, no thanks!

Re: I got an e-mail to update my info for 2010

They sent me a "new hire" package and contract which reads like a book. $100,000.00 E&O and $300,000.00 on your auto insurance? LOL They do not discuss in there important things like what they PAY, or CANCELLATION FEES or NO SHOW/ REFUSE TO SIGN FEES. I am sorry, but I don't send a "professional resume", my contacts, and an NNA background check ahead of time to be paid $75.00 like some have stated for e-docs and fax backs. We know what we charge, and they know what they are willing to pay, so it should be disclosed upfront. that's my opinion. They seem like they are wasting everyone's time.

Agree with you, 'dog. I just rcvd a second request to fill their book-like app. (Actually there's streamlined way to do this if you use the old Kodak Imaging program.) As I was looking it over, I began to boil over --"professional resume"; "references"-- then the steam really flew when I saw "NNA" bgc. I headed to the Forum to cool down. It only got worse. $75 for e-docs closing? Are they serious? With those gold standards? (Reminds me of Notary Direct --big shot company with big shot standards and mom-and-pop fees [$80]) No thanks. Plus, MC has a "diversity checklist." I've got to query them further. Since I don't fit into any diversity category, do I have any chance of ever getting anything but a last-minute-because-everybody-else-canceled-or-is-unavailable phone call? "Moon Township" is apropos --they sound like they're from another planet.

Moon Twp is considered "mortgage row" in the Pittsburgh area. They are all out there. Somehow they're all connected.
