My Letter to Valu America

To Whom It May Concern:
My name is Deborah Lewellen and I just got off the phone with vendor mgt.
With valu America and Equity Title as well.
I had been charged for one job on my Credit card under the new system and I had to call
Valu America so I could find out what job I was charged for.
Valu America needs to send a monthly invoice/receipt showing what we are being charged for on our credit cards for TAX PURPOSES.

I think you all need to make this a topic of immediate discussion and make this available either by email or by putting on the website so that
When we log in, we can print it off monthly.

this was discussed a few times on this forum...but isn't

this the company where you pay like $5 bucks for a lead or job and then they reimburse you?

And this has been discussed before..

you just roll the surcharge into your fee - if your standard fee is $125 and ValuNet charges $5 your signing fee is now $130...

Many like it and have gotten a lot of work from it. I enrolled but need to get a prepaid card then I'll be good to go.

I don't have a problem with the accounting side of this issue. I use QB simple start, as well as having a paper system that I follow. IMO it's not difficult to reconcile the charge to the cc for which signing it applied to. I'm fairly sure ValuAmerica is not going to send you a monthly statement.
To clarify again, ValuAmerica is the PLATFORM Equity National is now using. They have said from the beginning that they don't expect notaries to absorb the cost, and have instructed us to increase our fees to cover the cost!!!!!!!
