Nationwide Notary Signers formerly Notary National Signers..

Did closing 12/10/09. Says on confirmation, "no need to send an invoice, payment schedule is net 30 from funding day of closing....." Yeah...should've been my first clue this might be a difficult invoice to collect...but I send an invoice anyway, don't trust these systems as they sometimes prove unrealiable, case in point.

1st invoice sent 12/11/09 (I know waaayyy to early to send invoice, but sent as a reminder w/note on invoice, due when loan funds or no later than 30 days from date of closing...received no answer to invoice (not even a hey r u nuts, its too early to send invoice call or email) ....2nd invoice sent 1/13/10....received no answer to that invoice....

So now, its 46 days from date of closing....still no check...no answers to my emails, no answers to my fax invoices...TC (Accurate Group) NOT helping....gives me the 'ole 'call your SS for payment' speech.....

So let's see if the SS is reading this....if you are, kindly pay my invoice and this will all go away...

Otherwise, I'll have to use a collection service, then charge you for collection fees, which I can legally in my state.

Then, if that doesn't work, and because I am a veteran paralegal, with lots of free time, will file a small claims court action again your company, and not only will you be liable for the measily nsa fee, but collection fees, and also the court filing fees. Now is all of this worth the trouble to collect $XXX, yes, its the principal that counts.

So Nationwide Notary Signers fomerly Notary National Signers, send me a check for your oustanding balance on account, and if I receive it by end of week, I will totally retract all of this message....what sayeth you...???

I've done work for them & been paid in slightly over 30 days. Did you call them? Sometimes that's enough to get it taken care of.

Yes, several several times...left numerous vm's...

But just as I hit the post button, I got a response from someone..they sent an email response to my Paypal Invoice request which I sent before I did the post.

They said the check went out last week.....hmmm...been receiving my mail and no checky yet...but now, so this can be over with and I can close out my 09 outstanding invoices, would very much prefer to be paid via Paypal....waiting for response.

Cari...in signing central it displays two and a half stars for this former name and should clue you into why they changed their name. If their former business was rated low stay away from the new name they are operating under. Today it's easy for a company to run into debt and shut down oly to open and operate under a new alias. JMO!

I realized that, but they were one of my clients that paid in the past, with no problems. So for me, even though the reviews were extremely mixed, taking the job was one of those 'good risks'.

We'll see if the check is in fact in the mail and received by the end of the week....
