Need info on a collection service--
Has anyone successfully used a collection service for a notary signing agent fee? I need one to collect for a signning I did for Pacific Dox Loan Signing Service in San Diego in Sept. 2009. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Have you tried contacting the title company? See message #316299.

Hi Sherry: I had an awful time collecting from these people. I filed a Complaint with the attorney general of my state and they couldn't reach them by telephone calls, faxes, and letters. They would not respond. They finally paid me 1 year after the signing. The title company I also called and they told me they had paid Pacific Dox. What a nighmare! I will never work for them again. Good Luck.

Sherry, there have been several conversations on this site about collection services. I'm sure if you do a search you'll find some good info. Some people have mentioned using Dun and Bradstreet collections. I haven't had to use them so I don't know how effective they are.

Dun & Bradstreet no longer do collections
I used them a couple times in the past but when I contacted them this year I found out that they no longer do collections
