Should have read the reviews in Signing Central!

Please do not type in all caps. It is considered shouting and very rude.

Call the TC as suggested in one of the reviews and you will probably get paid.

Aylin,
I am sorry this has happened to you. Unfortunately, this is a hard lesson for us notaries. I see that you are angry and have every right to be. I appreciate you warning us about this company. I don't think what you typed is rude in any way! The reason for this website is to help and support each other. It is not meant for snotty comments!!

I saw nothing snotty in Sylvia's post. She is correct - typing in ALL capital letters IS considered shouting, it is difficult on the eyes to read and is a lazy way of typing because one does not have to hit the shift key to capitalize. Typing certain words in caps for emphasis is accepted practice. Typing ALL words in caps is unacceptable. JMHO

Under Rules and Guidelines for the forum:

"II. Netiquette

Do not TYPE IN ALL CAPS. THIS IS CONSIDERED SHOUTING and has been proven more difficult to read than Mixed Case."

read my "snotty comments" I said that typing in all caps is considered shouting and rude.

I did not say what was typed was rude, only that typing in all caps is considered shouting and rude. The poster may not have realized that!

Waaaaa, waaaa. Why don't people grow up? She was obviously upset and wanted us to know about the problem. So she typed in all capitals. Did anyone die? Was anyone wounded? Let's worry about netiquette.......obviously there are notaries out there with not enough to do. Thanks for letting us know Aylin (sorry for all the mindless chaff you received).

Seems good manners and etiquette (or netiquette) flies out the window with some.

Guess some of us were raised in a different era where manners and etiquette meant something.

Jeez Scriba....

Get a grip on yourself! Sylvia's comments were in no way snotty. She stated a fact, whenever and wherever you post, typing in all caps is considered shouting or should I say SHOUTING!
Typing a word or two for emphasis is ok, but a whole paragraph is another story. Also consider that when reading, words flow easier and are easily absorbed when typed in a normal fashion.

I would have posted it if Sylvia didn't and not be mean, but

simply to make it easier to read.... Thanks Sylvia for taking the heat... Geez. Evidently people get worked up over nothing. I think taking a few extra seconds to type properly is well worth the effort. Have a great end of month to all.

I called Sylvia "Chaffy" because it seems like

that's what most of the sensible advice (that no one likes) is called--chaff. "Separate the good from the 'chaff'...blah, blah, blah...". I just don't understand that.

Just wanted to clear that up in case my point didn't come through that I totally agree with Sylvia.
