do not call borrower

Called SS when didn't have docs 1 hr before closing.
Was told they weren't ready.
Asked if they were going to contact borrower regarding closing being late.
Was told "when you get the docs then call and let them know. # is in the docs."
Found the # on the loan app, called and was told that they had called and rescheduled because they had no electricity. They didn't want to meet outside their home.

If I hadn't called would have wasted time and gas.
Docs were late (got 28 min before closing time).

If docs weren't late would have wasted a trip.
