faxing problems with hp3015 to efax

Hi ,
I have an hp3015 that I just got.Just tried to fax to an efax and get a no answer message. Has anyone had this problem and how did you solve it?

I was told by the title company that the critical docs are going into efax. I have faxed before with a different fax machine with no problems. Now this one is not communicating with the other end.

My mistake I thought you were using an efax company to go

through. May I suggest that you call the efax # on your cell and see if you get the handshake sound. If you do, you'll know their end is working. The other thing though it sounds silly. Are you putting the 1 in front of the number? I catch myself on landlines just dialing the 10 digits without the 1, like I do on my cell and it doesn't work.

My old stand alone fax machine is now faxing the docs just fine. It is the hp 3015 that is not working it says no answer from the other end.I wonder if it would work if I didn't have the pc cable connected?

My 3015 has worked perfectly for years. My fax # is 303-987-9224 if you want to test yours.

Les, I tried faxing to you but, it said no answer. Could you fax to me? Number is 847-246-3152

I have a call out to Comcast. I had bought a new all in one before which my pc didn't have enough memory to install technician installed remotely but, the fax wouldn't work or scan it just printed. I took it back. Now I have a new laptop with plenty of memory so I don't know what the problem is.
