50state notary-Aother ripoff listing service

I signed my wife-(also a SA)- up with 50 State Notary 2 months ago after receiving an email from them. A search of our zip code does not come up with her name. Have emailed and left several voice mails with 50 State, no response. I must conclude they are just a RIPOFF outfit and am advising all notaries to avoid them.

When I was new to this business I use to sign up with every tom dick and harry! You must know by now there are only two sites worth spending your money on and NotRot is one.
If you want to continue throwing your money away I'll take some, it's dead here. ha ha

Me too, last year with the cafe site. It has been a waste of $$. I agree with Ilene - there are only two sites worth advertising on.

Victoria sold that site, and moved to Denver...

after milking all she could from the notary community with her distinct lack of knowledge. She switched over to bankruptcy stuff hwere I hear she's doing pretty well.

I don't think she's in Denver. Last I saw, she was buying property in southern Colorado and wanted to start some sort of commune for those who work in her bankruptcy business. She did sell her notary site.

Talk about credibility? And professionalism? Just what we need: a Holistic/Notary/Bankruptcy Advisors/ Sweat Lodge/sell Indian Jewelry/Fry bread on-the-side commune. What was it P.T. Barnum said?

It's so weird for me... because I know of this woman from TWO industries!

She's still in Colorado... though her company is run out of Utah now. Or at least, the VA handling her company is in Utah. I'm pretty sure at this point she focuses on speaking type of things.

I think I said it all back in October in Msg #308585

I started out with her book, not knowing any better. She pitched a Christian (I think) attitude. I think we need to remember that anyone can start a business or write a book. You don't need to be an expert. All you need is some research, a publisher, savvy marketing, etc. How many books are out there that are a farce? It's almost become a joke--everyone writes a book.

Re: Victoria

I bought her book. I think it was in 2004.
