A warning about smart phone security

Here's a link to a very interesting article from yesterday's LA Times:

http://mobile.latimes.com/inf/infomo?view=Business+Items&feed:a=latimes_1min&feed:c=businessnews&feed:i=54727853

It's a warning saying that if you have a smart phone, a hacker may be able to find out as much about you just from your cell phone number as he could with your social security number. It also includes some suggestions for protecting yourself.

Janet good article. I guess they would find out what a signing agent does huh? LOL Or what a teacher (two) does and a mentally retarded 28 year old does. I have four cell phone in my name, they would find me interesting but confusing to say the least. I would doubt I'm the only one who has multiple accounts.

That's why I use the password and encryption features on my Blackberry. Plus, I limit the applications that have "trusted" status.
